Graphic Festival One
We launched the first edition of the Graphic Festival #1 at Al-Zawya Al-Hamra Library in Cairo, bringing us together for the first time to celebrate the world of design and learn from the best professionals in the field.
"Graphic Festival" wasn’t just an event—it was the start of an educational movement aimed at elevating the professionalism of graphic design among young designers. The day covered diverse topics, with every speaker sharing from the heart to provide genuine expertise to the new generation.
The day’s agenda was packed with the following specialties:
Typography and Design – Hazem Al-Sandiyouni
Delivered a captivating session on the art of Arabic calligraphy, explaining the difference between calligraphy and typography, and how to professionally use Arabic and English fonts in logo and print design.
Motion Graphics – Sami Al-Tawil (3D Motion Graphics & Instructor)
Discussed the future of motion graphics in Egypt and the Arab world, focusing on the role of After Effects in motion and visual effects work.
Print Preparation – Hussein Suleiman (Instructor & Graphic Designer)
Revealed the essentials of proper printing, the difference between RGB and CMYK, and when to use Pantone or Process Color to prepare work for print without issues.
User Experience Design (UX/UI) – Ayman Taher
Highlighted the difference between UX and UI, explaining simply how user experience design impacts people’s interaction with digital and non-digital products.Photo Manipulation – Islam Dumma
Shared professional techniques for blending and editing images, opening a discussion on how to use visuals to serve the artistic concept creatively.
